Today, Year 3 created sculptures in the style of the humans from LS Lowry’s artwork. Once they are finished, they will be displayed in the ‘village’ that they created when constructing their own LS Lowry style houses.

Some of the key skills they learned were:

• Coiling is putting clay into a cylindrical shape.

• Pinching is to grip tightly or sharply.

• Sculpting is a 3D piece of artwork which can be made from any material (they chose to use clay)
